Our smaller ships sail from convenient UK ports through the winter, so you could be chasing sunshine in the Canaries, exploring the Med and North Africa, sailing north for the Northern Lights, or visiting European cities and their Christmas markets. Each itinerary is hand-crafted to make the most of the season, so you simply choose the one that suits you.

If you're after warmth, the Canaries and Madeira hold on to gentle sunshine right through the colder months, which makes January and February a lovely time to swap grey skies for golden ones. Sailings depart across the whole winter, though, so there's flexibility to find dates that work for you.

We do. Each year we sail a handful of festive itineraries timed for Christmas and New Year, from European Christmas markets to island-hopping in the Caribbean sunshine. They're popular and limited in number, so it's worth looking early to find your favourite.
