What type of plug / electricity sockets are used in the cabins?
What plug sockets are on Fred. Olsen cruise ships?
All of our cruise ships feature 2-pin (round pin) Continental style plug (220 volt-60 Hz) and Bolette also has UK plug sockets.
Bolette and Borealis also feature the American-style 110 volt plug.
Do I need a plug adaptor on a Fred. Olsen cruise ship?
We recommend you bring adaptors on board, but if you forget, these can be borrowed from the Guest Services desk when on board, or purchased from the ship's Port Shop.
(Note: some other cabins may also feature a standard UK 3 pin plug).
