Are there safes in the cabins on board?
A safe is available for your convenience in every cabin (all cabins on Balmoral have an electric safe).
While we know valuable items such as mobile devices and cameras are vital for capturing and sharing memories from your cruise, Fred. Olsen, our suppliers and agents cannot accept liability for any lost or damaged valuables brought on board.
Guests are responsible for their own possessions, including items stored in cabin safes and lockable drawers, and anything left for carriage ashore at the end of your cruise. Therefore, we kindly request that you note the limit of liability that your travel insurer provides in the event of loss/damage of your personal possessions during your cruise.
