Can I pre-select a restaurant, dining time and table size?

If you have booked your cruise on a Freedom Fare you will be able to select your restaurant and dining time, subject to availability.

Freedom Fare guests can pre-select a restaurant and choose between first sitting (6.00pm) or second sitting (8.00pm*) dining on board Borealis & Bolette, and Balmoral. Freedom Fare guests can also request a table for either 2, 4, 6 or 8 people. However, please note that your table size and allocation requests cannot always be guaranteed.

*Please note, on embarkation day and formal nights, second sitting will be at 8.15pm.  

If you’re booked your cruise on a Saver Fare, your dining time, restaurant and table size will be allocated automatically.

Saver fare guests can pay a supplement to secure the dining time of your choice, but not the restaurant, for £2.00 per person, per night (subject to availability).

Dining times on One Night Cruises may vary, depending on which sailing you have booked.

For all guests, your allocated evening dining table will remain the same for the duration of your cruise. You are, however, free to dine in one of our less formal casual dining restaurants, which you can visit anytime during opening hours.

Our speciality restaurants offer a delicious alternative to the main restaurants and our casual dining options. Colours & Tastes offers a perfect blend of Asian, Grill and Italian menus on a rotation basis.

There’s a small supplementary charge for our Speciality Restaurants of £15pp before you cruise, or £20pp if you’d prefer to book on board. For Balmoral, the price to book Colours & Tastes before you cruise will be £20pp, or £25pp if booked on board, and will also apply from 7th April 2026 for Bolette (cruise T2607) & 14th April 2026 for Borealis (cruise S2607).

Available to book on board only, our intimate Chef's Table Experience, from £100pp, offers true culinary enthusiasts an extraordinary multicourse menu crafted by our expert chefs. Complementing each dish are premium wines selected by our on-board Sommelier, who will be on hand throughout the occasion to introduce each pairing and share their expertise.
