Borealis

Your cruise at a glance

Hand-crafted highlights

In just five nights, Borealis will take you on a journey along some of Norway's most picturesque waterways to two wonderfully contrasting destinations. In the Norse city of Bergen, named after the surrounding mountains, there’s the chance to hike with a local atop Mount Fløyen, offering views of the city and surrounding fjordland, while Flåm presents the opportunity to take a boat tour along the winding UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord or to travel up high into the mountains aboard the Flåm Railway. As Borealis cruises Norway’s longest fjord, Sognefjord, and the size-restricted Fjærlandsfjord, you will be superbly placed to spend the spring Bank Holiday weekend admiring Norway’s remarkable landscapes of powerful waterfalls, steep cliffs, and waterside villages.

The Norwegian concept of embracing spending time outdoors is known as Friluftsliv and encompasses a diverse range of activities to enjoy, whatever the season or weather. Hiking through Norway's scenic landscapes offers outstanding views across fjords and mountains, while kayaking along serene fjords gives you the chance to see tumbling waterfalls and lush mountains from the unique perspective of the water.
