Seasonal wonders abound on this springtime sailing to Norway, particularly waterfalls, which are at their strongest during this time of year. You will be taken on a special diversion into Maurangerfjord to capture the Fureberg Waterfall, while Eidfjord is your gateway to Vøringfoss Waterfall. Insightful experiences await in Bergen and Olden, where you can hike atop Mount Fløyen with a local and visit the Briksdal Glacier accompanied by an expert geologist. You’ll also have the chance to ride the iconic Flåm Railway, weaving through picturesque landscapes and up high into the mountains. Borealis will make more diversions to show you the size-restricted Lysefjord and the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord.

Hiking Like a Local
Walk to Bryggen, Bergen's UNESCO-listed Heritage Site, before ascending to the summit of Mount Fløyen on the funicular train. After a hike to the top of Mount Sandviken, descend into the valley to Øvre Eide Farm for a taste of creamy fish soup.

UK passport holders will need visas for certain Fred. Olsen cruise holidays and will advised at the time of booking. On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.

Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
