Mountainous Fjord Landscapes
As Bolette sails serenely along the narrow waterways of Norway's fjords, admire the breathtaking scenery of steep mountains, tiny waterside villages and cascading waterfalls. Explore further, and you'll come across icy glaciers such as Briksdal, reached from Olden; while in Bergen, Mount Floyen is accessed by the funicular railway, for superb panoramic views from the peak. You will also experience scenic cruising of the Hardangerfjord, a stretch of deep blue water, flanked by towering mountains, including the Trolltunga rock formation and picturesque orchards.

Embracing friluftsliv
This cruise offers you the perfect activities in which to embrace the Norwegian concept of friluftsliv - spending time outside connecting with nature and for a better sense of well-being. From Bolette, join us on a tour to explore the Briskdal Glacier with a local expert, who is a graduate in geomorphology and has worked at the glacier site previously, and will be able to show you the glacier at its very best. Enjoy a nature hike in Ulvik, or take a leisurely kayaking journey along the Hardangerfjord, past tumbling waterfalls and lush mountainside farms.

Innovative ways of climbing the fjordland
Over many years, the Norwegian people have had to come up with innovative ways of travelling across or over the beautiful fjordland countryside. In Loen, take the skylift, one of the steepest cable cars in the world, to the peak of Mount Hoven for hiking trails and panoramic views of the fjord below; while the funicular railway in Bergen ascends Mount Floyen steeply, for spectacular vistas and woodland walks.

UK passport holders will need visas for certain Fred. Olsen cruise holidays and will advised at the time of booking. Your cruise booking information will also detail any requirements applicable to your holiday.
On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.
Our single guests feel right at home on board our ships; Fred. Olsen have the reputation of sailing the friendliest fleet afloat.
Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
