Ascending the Norwegian fjordland
Norway's landscapes mix hilly terrain with narrow fjords that can be vulnerable to the country's lengthy winters and deep snowfall, making it challenging to implement engineering plans to traverse the country. However, over the years, Norwegian engineers have devised novel approaches to reaching some of the country's most distant locations. During your Bolette cruise, you will have the chance to experience the Loen Skylift in Olden which will take you to the top of Mount Hoven, a near-vertical climb that leads to beautiful hiking routes with spectacular views of Nordfjord. Experience an exhilarating journey on the winding roads and hairpin bends of the Troll's Path (Trollstigen) offering breathtaking vistas of steep cliffs and cascading waterfalls, or enjoy a scenic drive along the renowned Atlantic Ocean Road, with iconic bridges linking tiny islets. On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.

Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
