Mountainous Fjord Landscapes
Bolette will take you on a journey of some of Norway's most breathtaking Norwegian fjords. As you sail serenely along narrow waterways, flanked by towering mountains and tumbling waterfalls, you'll witness an abundance of natural wonders. With small coastal towns and charming fishing villages, Romsdalfjord is home to the magnificent mountain pass of Trollstigen, twisting through hairpin bends and climbing the cliffs in Romsdalen Valley. You will also cruise along Nordfjord, with emerald green landscapes and deep blue waters contrasting against the backdrop of steep cliffs. From here, Olden is your gateway to exploring the mighty Briksdal Glacier, while the beauty of Nigardsbreen Glacier can be witnessed on a tour from Skjolden.

The culture of Norway is to spend time connecting with nature and embracing outdoor living, a wonderful concept known as Friluftsliv. Engage in this concept by enjoying kayaking on the calm waters of Nordfjord, or hiking to see Briksdal Glacier where it drops into the lush green valley below, accompanied by a local expert who has worked as a glacier guide at the Jostedal National Park. From Bergen, enjoy a hike to the peak of Mount Fløyen for spectacular views across the fjord below.

On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.
Our single guests feel right at home on board our ships; Fred. Olsen have the reputation of sailing the friendliest fleet afloat.
Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
