Your cruise at a glance
Hand-crafted highlights
Our Journey Planners have crafted this cruise to coincide with two of Spain’s most popular annual events – the Cádiz Carnival, a joyous festival of humour and singing, and the Tenerife Carnival, second in size only to Rio de Janeiro. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to soak up some winter warmth on the many beaches of the Canaries, including the golden dunes of Gran Canaria’s Maspalomas, while Tenerife and Madeira offer volcanic landscapes and fragrant gardens respectively. Immerse yourself in the Canarian way of life by sampling the famous Mojo sauce with wrinkly potatoes (papas arrugadas) while in Cádiz, taste traditional tapas like Patatas Bravas, or enjoy a tour of Seville to see a passionate flamenco performance. Your Canary Islands cruise has also been designed to show you some of the region’s many natural and cultural sites recognised by UNESCO, including the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna on Tenerife and the Biosphere Reserve of La Palma.

Visa and health requirements can change at any time. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you check with a professionally qualified source and comply with such requirements. UK passport holders will need visas for certain Fred. Olsen cruise holidays and will be advised at the time of booking. Our single guests feel right at home on board our ships; Fred. Olsen have the reputation of sailing the friendliest fleet afloat.
Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
