Witness Tulip Fields in Bloom
From mid-March to mid-May each year, the tulip fields burst into a vivid display of colour, with vibrant hues of red, yellow, pink, purple and orange creating a breathtaking spectacle across the Dutch countryside. In Amsterdam, you are perfectly placed to visit Keukenhof Gardens, an expansive landscape which is filled with millions of blooming tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and crocuses. Open for just two months each year, the meticulously landscaped estate and intricately designed displays celebrate the arrival of spring, and include themed gardens, pavilions and sculptures.

Experience the Dutch Culture
Due to the vast network of bike lanes crisscrossing the towns and cities, cycling is a common way of life in the Netherlands. Take a tour of Amsterdam's stunning tulip fields and see how the bulbs in Keukenhof Gardens are grown. Known as "klompen," traditional wooden clogs are an integral element of Dutch culture and are recognised as national symbols in many places rather than being used as shoes these days. Take the chance to participate in a clog-making workshop at a nearby farm, where you may make your own memento and see how they are manufactured. No trip to the Netherlands would be complete without indulging in delectable delicacies like stroopwaffels, and bitterballen, and Dutch cheeses such as Edam, Gouda and Leerdammer.

On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.

Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
