This cruise offers guests the chance to experience the rugged beauty of the Adriatic, and the remarkable scenery of the Dalmatian Coast.Split, a coastal gem nestled along the glittering waters of the Adriatic Sea, offers narrow streets, charming squares, and bustling markets; while Dubrovnik is an enchanting city renowned for its city walls encircling the Old Town, where Renaissance fountains and medieval architecture intertwine with gleaming marble squares and steep cobbled streets. Borealis will also sail through the fjord-like Bay of Kotor, surrounded by high peaks and rocky shorelines, before cruising on to La Goulette, gateway to Tunis whose sprawling maze of streets are home to one of the most impressive medinas in the world.

Experience the Dalmatian way of life

During your Borealis cruise, you will have many opportunities to immerse yourself in local cultures. Gibraltar is unmistakably British, with red pillar boxes, classic pubs, and even a Marks and Spencer, which blend perfectly with a touch of Andalusian Spanish influences. In Dubrovnik, join us on a tour to visit a local family estate and absorb yourself in Croatian traditions with a hands-on cooking experience to produce the classic Croatian dish, peka. Meanwhile, in Split, you can take a walk through the historic mountain village of Radovici, enjoy local foods, and watch a live fiddle performance. From Kotor, you can take the chance to visit an olive farm in Lustica Bay and try local delights such as goats cheese and prosciutto. Throughout your cruise, guest speaker and Croatian national, Bruno Soltic, will be available to share his experiences growing up in the Adriatic.
