You may have already spotted our new advert appearing on your TVs. In this blog, we’re delighted to take you behind the scenes and share an exclusive glimpse into how it was brought to life.
Working closely with our creative agency, the Fred. Olsen team were joined by 34 production crew members, models and specialist teams on board our flagship, Bolette, for eight nights of filming. Each day involved detailed coordination, tight schedules and constant logistics, all carefully balanced so filming could take place seamlessly while our guests continued to enjoy their holiday and our crew carried out their roles as usual.
If you look closely at the finished advert, you may even spot some familiar faces. Many of our guests and crew wished take part and feature in the background, adding an authentic and warm atmosphere that truly reflects life on board.
Once filming at sea was complete, the journey continued back on land at a creative studio in Norwich. Here, a beautifully crafted workshop-style set was built especially for the advert, including the iconic ship in a bottle. With all the footage brought together, our talented editors worked their magic, blending cutting-edge AI and CGI to add an extra touch of wonder and bring the story to life.
