Ocean Wildlife Encounters Cruises
Ocean Wildlife Encounters (OWE) have worked with Fred. Olsen since 2021. OWE comprises more than 20 experienced marine wildlife observers and naturalist speakers. While onboard, the team hosts Wildlife Watches on sea days, scanning for whales, dolphins, seabirds, and other wildlife from a prominent lookout point where passengers can join them. [ReadMore] The team usually has four members, allowing us to cover the deck fully, interact with passengers, and log all cetacean sightings to support whale and dolphin conservation. OWE offe regular lectures on topics such as wildlife that may be seen at sea and on port days within easy reach of the port. As accomplished photographers, they can also offer advice on getting the most from your camera. In the evenings, they are usually in the Earth Room or Library, where they compile a daily sightings log.
