Southampton Cruise Port

Check in staff smiling at Southampton Port Terminal

Fred. Olsen operates year-round from Southampton, with cruises mainly departing from the City Cruise Terminal. Occasionally, we may sail from the Mayflower, Fruit Terminal or QE2 cruise terminals. You will be advised of your departure port when you receive your cruise tickets.

You can find out more about driving directions to Southampton, car parking at the terminals and train and coach connections to and from the port below.

We know that many of our guests will have questions about our Covid protocols at Southampton Cruise Port, so we've compiled the below handy FAQ's:

Visit fredolsencruises.com/check-in where you will find details of your allocated arrival window and your departure terminal.

We kindly ask that you only arrive during your allocated window to ensure we do not have too many guests arriving at the same time. If you arrive early we will ask that you come back again during the time specified for your arrival.

Don’t worry if you are running a little late for your window, we just ask that you don’t arrive early. As long as you arrive no later than 15.45 you will still be able to check-in if you are delayed on your journey.

Guests using AB Parking at the port will receive arrival instructions from them directly.

Upon arrival at your allocated time, your luggage will be collected directly from your car and you will be directed to the terminal from there. Please remember to keep your travel documents in your hand luggage as you will need these at check-in.

If you are not arriving in your own car, or not parking with AB Parking, please proceed directly to the drop-off area at the terminal, where a member of the team will be ready to take your luggage from you and arrange for it to be taken to your cabin. Please remember to keep your travel documents in your hand luggage as you will need these at check-in.

If you arrive ahead of schedule, we ask you to please make use of nearby facilities in Southampton and return again at your allocated time.

Please note your Cruise Terminal will be advised once your cruise tickets are issued, please look out for road signs for correct berth once entering Southampton on day of departure.

If you are travelling by car to reach your departure port and are using a SatNav to direct you, please use the following postcodes:
