Making the most of every single day
Scenic Discoveries - The Stockholm Archipelago
Our journey planners craft our Scandinavian cruises to ensure you sail in and out of Stockholm at the best time of day to appreciate the true beauty of the Stockholm Archipelago. Join fellow guests out on the deck of your smaller ship for the best views as your ship navigates the many tiny rocky islands and islets.
Scenic Discoveries – The Kiel Canal
The Kiel Canal spans 98 kilometres, cutting through the picturesque German countryside as it links the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. The slow sailing along the canal offers the opportunity to relax on deck as you sail under low bridges and pass interesting villages and towns that flank the still waters.
Medieval Visby
The enchanting medieval town of Visby, located on the Swedish island of Gotland, is famed for its well-preserved medieval city wall, which still has many of its original towers intact. Originally built as protection for the town against foreign enemies, the wall encircles the city which is now a UNECO World Heritage Site.
"The Scandinavian cities were great to visit and the ship is large enough to have space, but not overwhelming".

WHAT TO PACK FOR A SCANDINAVIAN CRUISE
What’s the first thing that springs to mind when you hear the word “Scandinavia”? Chances are, you’ll think of snowy mountains and icy winds. In fairness, that might be a decent description of Scandinavia in the winter. In summer, expect green hills and balmy temperatures (possibly up to 25 °C in July/August). You’re really only likely to experience a freeze between November and March. As for wind - storms come about as often as anywhere else in Europe.
