Whales & Puffins
We have carefully scheduled this cruise on Balmoral to maximise your chances of encountering fascinating wildlife, including whales and puffins, in their natural habitats. Ísafjörður and Reykjavík present opportunities to go in search of puffins, while Akureyri is considered one of the best whale-watching destinations in the country. The waters surrounding northern Iceland are renowned for their rich marine biodiversity, making them a haven for various species, particularly humpbacks. What’s more, ocean conservationists ORCA will accompany us on Balmoral, leading wildlife spotting sessions on deck and assisting you in identifying any marine life you may see on your journey.

On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.

Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
