This Borealis cruise has been designed to include ports of call which will allow you to immerse yourself in the French way of life. From Pauillac you can journey into the heart of the Bordeaux region, visiting local vineyards to sample world-renowned wines and witness the wine-making process firsthand. From La Pallice, the Cognac region beckons. Lying on the banks of the Charente River, the area is home to some of the world’s most prestigious Cognac houses such as Hennessy and Rémy Martin, offering the opportunity to sample the locally produced Brandy. Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
