Service: Checking was easy and efficient. Staff friendly, quietly efficient in all areas. Food delicious, served by unobtrusive but attentive staff. Cabin roomy and beds very comfortable.
Product: Places chosen gave good opportunity to see great Chirstmas Markets with crowds of locals enjoying all the markets had to offer. The atmosphere was truly amazing.

Service: Boudicca Indian Ocean Cruise was first class in every respect, service, food, entertainment and shore excursions. Small ship, friendly, dining experience great and made new friends. Will definitely sail with Fred Olsen again.
Product: Unfortunately Madagascar was taken off the itinerary due to plague but although at first disappointed it didn't spoil an otherwise excellent cruise

Service: Cabin service excellent. Food very good. Show company BRILLIANT ON STAGE AND AROUND THE SHIP. Guest entertainers very good. Except comedian who was EXCELLENT both on stage and around the ship. Bars and lounge staff were very ,very good as were prices. Reception always helpful.
Product: Missed out on Tortola berth. Santiago Cuba disappointing Neptune Lounge vocalist not up to usual high standard

Service: Everything about the cruise was first rate. The staff were very good, the food wonderful and the entertainment superb. the lectures were interesting and informative. This was our first time on Boudica and we were impressed at how much the dance group could do in such a small space. They were fantastic. A pity about missing Madagascar but not your fault and who wants the plague? Yes, we would book, and will, book to travel with Fred Olsen again.

Service: As was to be expected, the service on board was generaly excellent.
Product: Sadly, the weather precluded us from reaching Lanzarote, which probably means I will never get there. Lisbon was replaced by Vigo, somewhere new to me, and an interesting visit. This did mean an extra day on board the ship, but there was plenty going on each day before the evening's entertainment kicked-in. However, I do think some of the shore excursions were over-priced and could be done more economically with a bit of research beforehand.

Service: The ship was fine - food, service and staff excellent. The reason for poor rating is because my wife was terrified of the physical sailing conditions through storms and gales. It was impossible to keep your balance throughout the ship during day time.At night my wife was unable to sleep night after night because of the very rough sailing conditions.The experience has seriously affected my wife's confidence and right now she is very unlikely to undertake further cruising. While appreciating the captain and company's proper safety concerns, which sadly led to cancellation of 2 visits, we would have expected that with your experience of sailing in the north Atlantic during winter months that you would have issued a cautionary notice to passengers who, like us, were only on our 2nd cruise. This really has made us consider whether we could cruise again on the Balmoral.

Service: The service was good but not exceptional.
Product: Too much cruising because weather turned stormy before visiting the last island and had to go to Vigo instead of Lisbon. Balmoral not good in rough seas. Also thought the accommodation, a Junior Suite, could have been better, it seemed a bit 'tired'.
