Departing from Basel, you’ll begin your memorable week away with a short sail to Strasbourg, situated on the French riverbanks of the Upper Rhine. Further along the Rhine, across the French-German border, handsome Speyer awaits you next. With another full day ashore, there’s time to wander into the heart of this beautifully-preserved town and seek-out many treasures such as the Romanesque St Stephen Cathedral, with its impressive spires and domes. The following morning you’ll wake to views of enchanting hillside towns, striking fortresses and lush forests and vineyards as Brabant sails the gorgeous Middle Rhine Valley to Koblenz. Docking close to the famous ‘Deutsches Eck’ in Koblenz makes it easy to visit the mighty Ehrenbreitstein Fortress via cable car, take in the Prussian Electoral Palace and 19th century Stolzenfels Castle, and much more. Diverting down the Moselle, you’ll spend the next afternoon sailing by the beautiful wine regions and pretty towns of the Lower Moselle Valley en route to Cochem, where a visit to the fairytale-esque, picture-perfect Reichsburg Castle makes for a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Finally, your unforgettable week of scenic river exploration concludes back on the banks of the Rhine in Cologne. Before heading home, perhaps make the most of your time to visit the city’s iconic, UNESCO-listed Cathedral and marvel at its spectacular towering exterior and glorious interiors; take in the various galleries and museums; and stop-by the Altstadt District, where bustling pubs offer up a friendly atmosphere and Cologne’s famous sweet ale, Kölsch.

Koblenz – Cable Car Ride to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress: Take a cable car to the imposing Ehrenbreitstein, uncover the rich history of one of Europe's largest fortresses and revel in breathtaking views of the city.
