Puerto d’Alcudia Cruises
Mallorca’s biggest beach resort, Puerto de Alcúdia, is found on the north coast of the island and boasts a long, sandy beach which draws visitors to the area from all over Europe and beyond.[ReadMoreMob] The beach, Playa de Alcúdia, stretches for 7 km south from Puerto de Alcúdia, and is a popular place for watersports including stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. There are plenty of amenities nearby too, such as bars and restaurants. In addition to the beach, Puerto de Alcúdia has a pretty marina and promenade, offering a variety of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.
The nearby town of Alcúdia has a charming historic centre, which is a highlight of northern Mallorca and home to the island’s only fully persevered town wall. The medieval wall encompasses Alcúdia’s vibrant centre, which has been sympathetically restored and pedestrianised, making it an ideal place to browse the stylish shops or enjoy a cool drink in the quaint cafes. It is also possible to walk the walls that encircle the old town for a different perspective of Alcúdia.
