The cruise at a glance
The Olsen Way Highlights
Your voyage has been planned to visit Iceland at a time of year with fewer tourists around. There will be a host of wonders and wildlife to seek out, from whales returning to their breeding grounds in the north, to geothermal sites home to geysers, hot springs and waterfalls. ORCA conservationists will be on board to help you spot whales whilst at sea. Your exploration will be made easier with Bolette docking within a mile of the centre in Akureyri, Tórshavn and Seyðisfjörður, the latter of which is so remote that cruising to it makes for an extra special experience.Explore the Itinerary
Whale Watching with a Marine Biologist
Húsavík is considered the capital of whale watching in Iceland due its wide open bay, rich marine life and excellent spotting rates. This tour offers the unique opportunity to enjoy magnificent wildlife and to witness whales and birds in their natural habitat. Join a local marine biologist who will share their knowledge gathered from years of tracking whales and provide you with fascinating insights into their lives as well as the various species which may be seen during the trip to Skjálfandi Bay.
Wildlife spotting on board with ORCA
Grab your binoculars and join your on-board ORCA team as they search the seas for native ocean wildlife. They will be on hand throughout the cruise delivering talks on the marine life, such as whales and dolphins, who call this region home, as well as running wildlife watching sessions out on deck.
