Instead of suffering the cold, wet weather back home as winter approaches, you’ll be hopping between a string of paradise islands in the Indian Ocean and the Andaman Sea for chances to relax at postcard-perfect beaches; explore beautifully unspoilt landscapes; discover iconic scenes; and much more, all on one very special exotic cruise.

In the spectacular Seychelles, where Boudicca will be awaiting your arrival, you’ll spend time at two of the archipelago’s most beautiful and sought-after islands, Mahé and Praslin Island. [ReadMoreMob]You can take your pick of many quintessential Seychelles beaches, such as Anse Lazio – considered one of the world’s best beaches – and Cote d’Or; or even visit UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai, home to huge Coco de Mer nuts and rare Black Parrots. Then it’s on to Maldives, visiting the island country’s capital for an authentic taste of Maldivian life.  [ReadMoreDesk] Perhaps choose to stay in Malé and explore bustling, skyscraper-laden streets spread across the entire islet the city sits on; or opt to seek-out idyllic atolls within reach on short boat trips, such as the tropical island resort of Kuda Bandos, a haven for blissful relaxation. A restful day at sea follows as your ship sails northeast to Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo. With its collection of impressive Buddhist and Hindu temples, mosques, busy bazaars and interesting museums, Colombo begs to be explored. Particular highlights are Gangaramaya Temple, one of the city’s most important sacred sites, and the National Museum of Colombo, the largest museum in Sri Lanka.

After a week of Indian Ocean island exploration, you’ll head to the Andaman Sea to bask in the breathtaking natural beauty of the Andaman Islands and the Thai island of Phuket. Boudicca will call at Port Blair, perfectly located for tours to Mahatma Gandhi National Marine Park, where a variety of wildlife such as exotic fish, turtles, starfish and even crocodiles live among the lush vegetation, white-sand beaches and coral reefs. Alternatively, you may be tempted to visit neighbouring islands such as Ross Island and Havelock Island where some of Asia’s best beaches await. Finally, fabulous Phuket – the ‘Pearl of the Andaman – is sure to delight. The epitome of paradise, this island is renowned for its inviting, warm clear-blue waters and palm-lined white sand beaches. Make the most of your time to relax in the soothing sunshine, or perhaps venture into Phuket Town to see the impressive temples and shrines in the centre. For breathtaking vistas and unmissable photo opportunities, be sure to take a short speedboat ride to legendary Phang Nga Bay and ‘James Bond Island’ and discover iconic scenes you may recognise from the ‘big screen’.

Please note: While this is a 14-night cruise, your holiday duration may extend beyond the cruise length, depending on your allocated flight dates and times.

Real ships
We don’t have boastful megaships. We take immense pride in our fleet of smaller-scaled vessels that retain the style, ambience and understated quality of a country house hotel.  We ensure they remain contemporary too: from winter 2016 to spring 2018 the whole fleet underwent dry dock refits to further enhance the facilities for guests. With the fifth generation Fred. Olsen as Chairman and 170 years of seafaring heritage behind us, we believe we’ve found the perfect formula for you to get the best out of your holiday with us.

Smaller but spacious
A smaller ship doesn’t mean less space; far from it. Each room is comfortably sized, with all that you’ll need to enjoy your holiday. In fact, our rooms are comparable to those on some of the mammoth cruise ships. While our vessels are on a more accessible scale, you can have just as much private space.  With fewer people on board it’s easy to find a quiet spot to relax in peace with a drink or a good book. There’s room to stretch out by the pool and you can get ashore more quickly too. And when you’re ashore, you’re seeing the best of each port of call with hundreds – not thousands – of others, giving you a much more authentic experience.

Service with a smile
Each member of the Fred. Olsen team has been carefully selected for their warm and welcoming personalities. The quality of our people, supported by training and development, ensures they will give you a great holiday: in guest feedback our staff are always the most highly-rated aspect of the whole experience.

Named after the British warrior Queen, Boudicca has built up a loyal following, combining style and space with the renowned personal Fred. Olsen service. Up to 880 guests can sail in comfort on board Boudicca, enjoying the welcoming, home-from-home ambience, ample space and fantastic restaurants, lounges, bars and facilities of a smaller, friendly ocean-going cruise ship.
