You’ll then spend a restful day at sea, as Braemar heads to Grenada – the ‘Spice Island’ – for a wonderfully rewarding stop at St George’s. You can experience the life of local farmers and try your hand at harvesting cocoa beans here, while attractions such as Molinière Bay underwater sculpture park and Grand Etang National Park are within reach.

Visits to five spectacular islands on consecutive days will bring your holiday to an exhilarating end. Your smaller, friendlier cruise ship will guide you to St Lucia, home to soaring Twin Pitons and the bubbling Soufrière Volcano, where you'll have a chance to visit contribute island communites during a visit to a local school; and to Antigua, an island famed for boasting over 365 breathtaking beaches, as well as historical highlights such as the English Harbour and Nelson’s Dockyard. Then there’s St Kitts, for a chance to ride on one of the world’s greatest scenic railways and witness unspoilt scenes of sugarcane fields, dense forests and spectacular coastline. At St Maarten, you could explore the 17th century battlements of Fort Amsterdam and Fort Willem during a call at Philipsburg, or opt to join a thrilling catamaran sailing on the Caribbean Sea. Finally, a full-day docked in Road Town affords you time to uncover Tortola’s fascinating pirate history on a scenic boat tour followed by an exhilarating open-top safari bus adventure, before disembarking in the Dominican Republic.
