Another gorgeous village awaits within the farthest reaches of the glorious Nordfjord. Charming Olden, surrounded by soaring mountains, dramatic cliffs and lush meadows, is sure to entice you into heading ashore to explore. Venture further and natural treasures, such as the astonishing Briksdal Glacier and the Lovatnet Lake await close-by. You’ll also head deep into Hardangerfjord, where Eidfjord will be your gateway to Vøringsfossen – one of Norway’s most famous waterfalls – and Hardangervidda Nature Centre, which offers a fascinating insight into Norwegian nature. Finally, there’s Stavanger. Here you could choose to join a boat tour to the spectacular Lysefjord, taking in rugged scenes from glass-like waters; or opt to stay in the city, where the historic Gamla Stavanger district and the interesting Canning Museum are among many attractions.
