An opportunity to be part of something very special, this is more than just a cruise. Joining Bolette, you’ll experience the excitement of being the first of our guests to sail on our new flagship, and celebrate with fellow guests and our crew as we begin the next chapter of Fred. Olsen history. What’s more, during this seven-night escape, in addition to enjoying life on board Bolette, you’re in for a rewarding discovery of fascinating, close-to-home destinations too.[ReadMoreMob]

North of the border, there are chances to immerse yourself in the beauty and remoteness of Scottish isles and iconic natural landmarks. Marvel at the intriguing volcanic formations of Dutchman’s Cap, and listen out for the echo of Atlantic Ocean waves crashing against the basalt columns of Fingal’s Cave as you sail closely by. Ashore in the Shetlands, you could seek out native wildlife such as iconic Shetland Ponies, while your day in the Orkney’s affords time to uncover UNESCO-listed Neolithic treasures aplenty on tour from Kirkwall. There’s a visit to Northern Ireland too; enjoy ample time in Belfast to take in the capital’s highlights, including Titanic Belfast, the historic steamship SS Nomadic; and the Renaissance-style City Hall.

While Bolette is one of the largest ships, by overall size, in our fleet, she still has capacity for less than 1,400 guests. So on board you’ll find you have more space in which to relax, in public areas such as the all-season pool and the beautiful two-tiered entertainment theatre, and enjoy a premium level of comfort – as well as our renowned personal service – in the elegant lounges, bars and dining venues.

With its warm, welcoming atmosphere and timeless style, and classic open deck spaces providing a place to fully immerse yourself in the magic of ocean cruising, Bolette is very much in keeping with what our guests have come to expect from a Fred. Olsen ship.
Bringing the world closer

Our size advantage means we can take you to places that some of the larger cruise vessels simply can’t. We dock close to the heart of some of the world’s most beautiful cities and can take you on scenic cruising adventures showcasing inspirational landscapes. Our itineraries are expertly crafted to make the most of this advantage.

Smaller but spacious

Aboard our smaller, friendlier ships you'll find there's plenty of room to stretch out by the pool, enjoy a drink and great conversation with like-minded guests, and make the most of your time away. Sailing with hundreds, not thousands, of others allows you to get ashore faster too, and make the most of each destination.
