All three holidays must be booked in one transaction with the same lead name; one holiday booking must be for a 2019 departure, the second and third cruise can be for any available departure year. The value of the lowest priced cruise will be divided into three with one third of this value deducted from each of the three bookings. Free cruise value will be calculated after any applicable deal or promotion has been applied. The standard deposit or full payment will be due at time of booking for each cruise, as dictated by the departure date, faretype, or duration. If lead guest name is changed, this must apply to all three bookings and standard Administration Fees will apply. Should the cost of any of the bookings made under this promotion change due to an amendment request from the guest, FOCL reserves the right to amend the value of the free cruise accordingly. Should any of the cruise bookings made under this promotion be cancelled or transferred by the guest, this offer and discounts will be withdrawn and the remaining cruise bookings will be re-priced at the fares applicable at the time of booking. We reserve the right to withdraw cruises from the promotion or make amendments at any time without prior notice. Standard cancellation charges apply to all three cruises based on the fare type that is booked for the relevant cruise. Endless rewards await in the hard-to-reach Azores, and cruising is undoubted the best way to experience this remote, breathtaking archipelago. You can savour stunning emerald-green landscapes, volcanic wonders, fascinating history and more – all under the guidance of Boudicca. The highlights aren’t restricted to the Azorean treasures though, as Madeira awaits with its verdant lands and fragrant gardens too.

After a relaxing sail from Dover, calling at three of the region’s most beautiful and diverse islands makes the most of your time in the Azores. [ReadMoreMob]During a stop at Praia da Vitoria, you could opt to take a scenic journey to historic Angra do Heroísmo on Terceira Island’s picturesque south coast. Indulge in a leisurely exploration of this UNESCO-listed city, to find its interesting museums and architectural gems such as the 16th century Sé Cathedral. Don’t miss the unspoilt Atlantic Ocean views on offer from the Monte Brasil volcano, towering over Angra, too. On Faial Island, Horta welcomes you with its pretty harbour and serves at a gateway to a wonderland of volcanic craters, lakes and verdant valleys, smothered with lush-green forests and flora. The Capelinhos Volcano, Faial’s most iconic landmark, can be seen in all it’s spectacular natural glory on a scenic island drive or exhilarating 4x4 adventure. [ReadMoreDesk]

São Miguel Island is a volcanic paradise ripe for your exploration too. Ponta Delgada is your starting point for discovering the greatest sights of São Miguel, including the astonishing scenes of Sete Cidades Volcano, one of the seven wonders of Portugal, with its 13-kilometre-wide crater and illusionary, colourful lakes. Elsewhere, Terra Nosta Park – a haven of gorgeous gardens, geo-thermal pools and dense woodlands that are home to stunning endemic flora – is within reach, as are the hot springs of Furnas Valley. As you head from home, Madeira awaits to provide one final sensory feast: during a call to Funchal you can revel in views of forested landscapes via the levada walking trails; see and smell the vibrant colours and scents of botanical gardens; and indulge with sweet Madeiran wines. After all of your island-based explorations, Boudicca diverts to the Portuguese mainland and the port of Leixoes, from where you could tour to Oporto for world-famous port wines and picture-perfect riverscapes.

Named after the British warrior Queen, Boudicca has built up a loyal following, combining style and space with the renowned personal Fred. Olsen service. Up to 880 guests can sail in comfort on board Boudicca, enjoying the welcoming, home-from-home ambience, ample space and fantastic restaurants, lounges, bars and facilities of a smaller, friendly ocean-going cruise ship.

Real ships
We don’t have boastful megaships. We take immense pride in our fleet of smaller-scaled vessels that retain the style, ambience and understated quality of a country house hotel.  We ensure they remain contemporary too: from winter 2016 to spring 2018 the whole fleet underwent dry dock refits to further enhance the facilities for guests. With the fifth generation Fred. Olsen as Chairman and 170 years of seafaring heritage behind us, we believe we’ve found the perfect formula for you to get the best out of your holiday with us.

Smaller but spacious
A smaller ship doesn’t mean less space; far from it. Each room is comfortably sized, with all that you’ll need to enjoy your holiday. In fact, our rooms are comparable to those on some of the mammoth cruise ships. While our vessels are on a more accessible scale, you can have just as much private space.  With fewer people on board it’s easy to find a quiet spot to relax in peace with a drink or a good book. There’s room to stretch out by the pool and you can get ashore more quickly too. And when you’re ashore, you’re seeing the best of each port of call with hundreds – not thousands – of others, giving you a much more authentic experience.

Service with a smile
Each member of the Fred. Olsen team has been carefully selected for their warm and welcoming personalities. The quality of our people, supported by training and development, ensures they will give you a great holiday: in guest feedback our staff are always the most highly-rated aspect of the whole experience.
