When you get to step ashore, there are plenty of historic highlights and memorable experiences to discover too. In Scotland, you can take in the Orkney’s UNESCO-listed Neolithic treasures on tour from Kirkwall, and the unique ruins of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, including Rothesay Castle, while Stornoway is the gateway to Lews Castle on the Isle of Lewis. You’ll head to the ‘Emerald Isle’ to visit Belfast, Northern Ireland’s attraction packed capital, and the pretty Isle of Man too, visit Falmouth for Cornish scenery, historic sites and delicious pasties, and be charmed by the scenic beauty of the Isles of Scilly.

Bringing the world closer

Our size advantage means we can take you to places that some of the larger cruise vessels simply can’t. We dock close to the heart of some of the world’s most beautiful cities and can take you on scenic cruising adventures showcasing inspirational landscapes. Our itineraries are expertly crafted to make the most of this advantage.

Smaller but spacious

Aboard our smaller, friendlier ships you'll find there's plenty of room to stretch out by the pool, enjoy a drink and great conversation with like-minded guests, and make the most of your time away. Sailing with hundreds, not thousands, of others allows you to get ashore faster too, and make the most of each destination.

Each member of the Fred. Olsen team has been carefully selected for their warm and welcoming personalities. The quality of our people, supported by training and development, ensures they will give you a great holiday. In fact, 97% of guests rated Fred. Olsen’s friendly, attentive staff ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’.

While Bolette is one of the largest ships, by overall size, in our fleet, she still has capacity for less than 1,400 guests. So on board you’ll find you have more space in which to relax, in public areas such as the all-season pool and the beautiful two-tiered entertainment theatre, and enjoy a premium level of comfort – as well as our renowned personal service – in the elegant lounges, bars and dining venues.

With its warm, welcoming atmosphere and timeless style, and classic open deck spaces providing a place to fully immerse yourself in the magic of ocean cruising, Bolette is very much in keeping with what our guests have come to expect from a Fred. Olsen ship.
