Your short stop here is sandwiched between scenic cruising by Strandafjellet Mountain and along Geirangerfjord – another of Norway’s most spectacular Natural World Heritage Sites. Then there’s charming Olden, situated within the glorious Nordfjord. Within reach here are a plethora of spellbinding natural wonders, such as the Briksdalen Valley and stunning Briksdal Glacier, and the Lovatnet Lake. A boat tour of Lovatnet offers you the chance to see the lake’s incredible scenery up-close.
Deep within Sognefjord your ship stops at Flåm. You could take a ride on the iconic Flåmsbana railway and see tumbling waterfalls; or head to the 650-metre-high Stegastein Lookout for breathtaking views of Sognefjord. After Flåm you’ll also experience an unforgettable scenic cruise of Nærøyfjord – one of National Geographic’s top two Natural World Heritage Sites – before it’s on to Stavanger. Here you have opportunities to join a boat tour to the spectacular Lysefjord, taking in rugged scenes from glass-like waters; or perhaps spend a relaxing afternoon in the city, where attractions such as the historic Gamla Stavanger district, the Canning Museum and Norway’s fourth largest shopping mall are particular highlights. Finally, Boudicca cruises into Hardangerfjord all the way to Eidfjord, your gateway to Vøringsfossen – one of Norway’s most famous waterfalls – and Hardangervidda Nature Centre.
