Sail to Norway and immerse yourself in the stunning beauty and soothing tranquillity of the fjords, as Boudicca ventures deep into breathtaking waterways and visits three picturesque ports of call.

Just two days of this cruise will be at sea, so most of your holiday will be spent witnessing the spectacular scenery and incredible natural wonders of the fjordland; either from on board your smaller cruise ship or ashore. First up on your itinerary is a day of mesmerising scenic cruising, taking in the magnificent mountainous landscapes and crashing waterfalls of Lysefjord; sailing into picturesque Jøsenfjord and Erfjord; and gliding through the narrow Karmsund Strait, a journey larger ships can’t undertake. The following morning you’ll arrive in enchanting Eidfjord, encompassed by amazing mountainous landscapes. A wealth of diverse experiences await you, including chances to discover the tumbling Vøringfoss Waterfall; visit the fascinating Hardangervidda Nature Centre; and sample the sweet flavours of the local tipples at a delightful cider and juice farm. Or you could go kayaking on the glassy waters of Hardangerfjord before stepping back on board Boudicca to enjoy a relaxing cruise along the fjord and marvel at the striking Furebergfossen Waterfall in Maurangerfjord. A foray into Aurlandsfjord follows, where the idyllic village of Flåm awaits your arrival. Once ashore you can hop aboard the magical Flåmsbana Railway and see the Kjofossen Waterfall, found high in the surrounding mountains; or perhaps enjoy the unspoilt views on offer from the 650-metre high Stegastein Lookout. If you prefer to stay on the water, kayaking adventures are a great way to experience the sheer scale of the majestic landscape. Your final hours of scenic cruising in the fjords are sure to be among your most memorable, sailing the full length of the dramatic, size-restricted Nærøyfjord – rated joint top in National Geographic’s list of natural heritage sites worldwide. Finally, before heading home, you’ll visit beautiful Bergen to discover the many highlights of Norway’s second city, including the colourful, UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf, the Troldhaugen Museum and the fantastic funicular railway providing access to the top of Mount Fløyen.
