On this short, yet enriching sailing, visits to three distinctive cities, in three different countries, provide opportunities discover a plethora of Scandinavia’s great artistic, historic and cultural highlights.[ReadMoreMob] Oslo is renowned aesthetic delights; The Vigeland Sculpture Park, displaying over 200 works from Gustav Vigeland, the National Gallery, home of Edvard Munch’s The Scream, and the Opera House are high on the city’s must-see list. The Akershus Fortress is also well worth a visit, for an insight into Oslo’s medieval heritage. En route to the Norwegian capital, you’ll also be part of a momentous sailing past the Olsen family home on the Oslofjord.

In Sweden, the attractions of Gothenburg await you; among the best are Maritiman – the world’s largest floating ship museum, Götaplatsen Square, and the Volvo Museum, exhibiting machinery from one of the most important companies. A cruise of the city’s scenic canals aboard a traditional ‘Paddan’ boat is highly recommended. Finally, Copenhagen is yours to explore. Here you’ll find highlights such as the famous Little Mermaid statue and colourful Nyhavn waterfront district just a short distance from your ship’s gangway. Venture further for an insight into Denmark’s Royal heritage at the Amalienborg and Christiansborg palaces; or perhaps delight in the charms of the legendary Tivoli Gardens amusement park.

We are free to do things a different way because we are family-run. Of course some people enjoy the bigger, busier cruises, but it is not for everyone, and it is not for us. We prefer to do things, 'The Olsen Way'.

We have fewer guests, so the atmosphere on board our ships is always warm and civilised. Our smaller ships allow us to visit the more interesting places that the world has to offer.
