[ReadMoreDesk]The Royal Museum of Fine Arts, the legendary diamond district, mighty Cathedral of Our Lady and much more awaits; and you could take the opportunity to indulge with authentic Belgian chocolates crafted by artisan chocolatiers. There’s ample time to experience it all, thanks to an overnight stay here. Even departing Antwerp will be a highlight, setting sail back along the scenic Western Scheldt River through countryside scenes of lush-green fields, marshlands and nature reserves.

Waking up in Amsterdam is the perfect way to start the Dutch leg of this immersive itinerary. You’ll have a day ahead of you to explore one of Europe’s most iconic capital cities and take your pick of its world-famous attractions. Highlights include museums and galleries such as Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, offering a taste of Amsterdam’s renowned arts and culture; and the impressive architecture of the UNESCO-listed Canal Ring, best seen on a boat tour of the city’s canals. After cruising the North Sea Canal, a visit to Rotterdam, with its contemporary cityscape and marvellous Erasmusbrug Bridge brings a futuristic flavour to your cruise. You’re bound to be impressed by the collection of museums, galleries and modernist architecture here: the unusual Markthal and Cube Houses are always sights to behold.
