Join Braemar for a fantastic fortnight of island-hopping in the Caribbean, the perfect escape from the cold and wet winter weather back home. You’ll capture the essence of the Caribbean at each idyllic destination on your itinerary, with charming cities, stunning natural highlights and beautiful, sun-kissed beaches awaiting your discovery.

You’ll embark Braemar for this invigorating cruise in Barbados, with time in Bridgetown to explore before setting sail. Perhaps visit Harrison’s Cave to see the impressive stalactites and stalagmites; or take the chance to go in search of sea turtles on a memorable catamaran cruise. Then in Granada – the ‘Spice Island’ – you’ll be greeted by a collection of colourful buildings and spicy scents as you head ashore in the capital, St George’s. You could choose to stay in the city and see the sights; or venture into the stunning Grand Etang National Park for breathtaking scenery. On Curacao you can wander into the UNESCO-listed centre of Willemstad, packed with European-inspired, colonial-style structures and pastel-fronted houses. The beautifully unspoilt landscapes of Bonaire are then yours to admire, with exciting Harley Davidson and Tuk-Tuk adventures available during a call into Kralendijk.

Arriving in Road Town next, you can delve into the famous pirate history of Tortola. Taking a scenic boat tour, followed by an exciting open-top safari bus adventure, is an unforgettable way to uncover the island’s variety of myths and legends. A diversion to Gran Turk follows, for the chance to make the most of the sunshine on white-sand beaches, bathe in warm, crystal-clear waters or even snorkel tropical reefs, before it’s on to St Kitts. An undoubted highlight here is the world-famous scenic railway, one of the greatest train journeys on earth. As your time in the Caribbean nears its end you’ll visit Antigua, where you could visit the historic English Harbour and Nelson’s Dockyard; enjoy the views on offer from Shirley Heights; take your pick from the 365 gorgeous beaches; and much more. Lastly, the wonders of Dominica await. You could take the chance to explore the island’s exotic tropical interior, the UNESCO-listed Morne Trois Pitons National Park in particular is a ‘must-visit’, or for a rewarding and enriching experience, assist friendly locals with their post-hurricane recovery. All this before returning to beautiful Barbados.
