With an assortment of highlights to experience as you sail between jaw-dropping destinations, you’ll enjoy a festive adventure to remember on this captivating cruise. Incredible beaches, interesting historical and cultural sites, amazing wildlife and natural wonders await ashore, while you’re in for very special Christmas and New Year celebrations at sea too.

Your 16-night exotic holiday will include time at some of the Indian Ocean’s most beautiful and sought-after archipelagos and islands. In the spectacular Seychelles, there are chances to discover some of the region’s greatest sights and experiences on Praslin Island and Mahé. You could venture into the tropical forest of Vallee de Mai, home to huge Coco de Mer nuts and rare Black Parrots; encounter Moyenne Island’s famous giant land tortoises on a tour; or simply take your pick of idyllic beaches, such as legendary Anse Lazio or Cote d’Or. A scenic sail past tropical Silhouette Island at sunset will be magical too. You’ll also have an opportunity to explore the fascinating history of Zanzibar. Many of the main sights are found in the Stone Town area; the old fort, harrowing slave chambers and the 19th century Anglican Church are well worth taking the time to visit. Alternatively, opt for hours of relaxation on white-sand beaches; snorkel the protected barrier reef; or perhaps tour to the intriguing Prison Island. [ReadMore]

A call at Mamoudzou is your chance to uncover the many marvels of Mayotte, including the Indian Ocean’s largest lagoon. On a tour you can snorkel this underwater paradise and see a variety of coral and tropical fish species up-close. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you might wish to explore this gorgeous French island’s lush interior; or stroll Mamoudzou’s charming dusted streets. Stopping overnight In Port Louis affords time to sample the cultural diversity of the Mauritian way of life, from tea tasting in the beautiful Chinese Pagoda to exploring the local Stamp Museum and colourful central market. With reach on tour from Port Louis are astonishing natural wonders, including the Trou-aux-Cerfs Volcano and the ‘Seven Coloured Earth’ sand dunes. There’s ample time to admire Reunion Island’s volcanic landscapes with two calls at Port Reunion too, including one on Boxing Day. A helicopter tour is an unforgettable way to view the island’s active volcano, deep ravines, dense forest and tumbling waterfalls. As if all that wasn’t enough, your inspirational journey is topped off by the fun and festivity of Christmas and New Year, celebrated on board Boudicca in the company of loved ones and friends.

Named after the British warrior Queen, Boudicca has built up a loyal following, combining style and space with the renowned personal Fred. Olsen service. Up to 880 guests can sail in comfort on board Boudicca, enjoying the welcoming, home-from-home ambience, ample space and fantastic restaurants, lounges, bars and facilities of a smaller, friendly ocean-going cruise ship.

Real ships
We don’t have boastful megaships. We take immense pride in our fleet of smaller-scaled vessels that retain the style, ambience and understated quality of a country house hotel.  We ensure they remain contemporary too: from winter 2016 to spring 2018 the whole fleet underwent dry dock refits to further enhance the facilities for guests. With the fifth generation Fred. Olsen as Chairman and 170 years of seafaring heritage behind us, we believe we’ve found the perfect formula for you to get the best out of your holiday with us.

Smaller but spacious
A smaller ship doesn’t mean less space; far from it. Each room is comfortably sized, with all that you’ll need to enjoy your holiday. In fact, our rooms are comparable to those on some of the mammoth cruise ships. While our vessels are on a more accessible scale, you can have just as much private space.  With fewer people on board it’s easy to find a quiet spot to relax in peace with a drink or a good book. There’s room to stretch out by the pool and you can get ashore more quickly too. And when you’re ashore, you’re seeing the best of each port of call with hundreds – not thousands – of others, giving you a much more authentic experience.

Service with a smile
Each member of the Fred. Olsen team has been carefully selected for their warm and welcoming personalities. The quality of our people, supported by training and development, ensures they will give you a great holiday: in guest feedback our staff are always the most highly-rated aspect of the whole experience.
