A call at Mamoudzou is your chance to uncover the many marvels of Mayotte, including the Indian Ocean’s largest lagoon. On a tour you can snorkel this underwater paradise and see a variety of coral and tropical fish species up-close. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you might wish to explore this gorgeous French island’s lush interior; or stroll Mamoudzou’s charming dusted streets. Stopping overnight In Port Louis affords time to sample the cultural diversity of the Mauritian way of life, from tea tasting in the beautiful Chinese Pagoda to exploring the local Stamp Museum and colourful central market.
