We have planned this itinerary to allow you to discover the contrasting volcanoes, fjords, geysers, glaciers and waterfalls which give Iceland it’s famous moniker. From Reykjavík, you can explore the spectacular Golden Circle, visiting Thingveller National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area and Gullfoss Waterfall, while our call into Ísafjörður has you perfectly placed to visit the thundering waters of Dynjandi Falls. You will be joined on board by Geologist Tony Waltham who will speak about the volcanoes, glaciers and waterfalls of Iceland ahead of our arrival.

At each port of call on this exciting cruise, you can experience the Icelandic way of life, a blend of ancient traditions and modern influences shaped by the country’s unique history and landscapes. Embrace the wellness culture by relaxing in the warm waters of the Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon from Reykjavík, enjoy a hike to Valagil Waterfall from Ísafjörður, and ride across the volcanic landscapes on horseback from Akureyri. You can also discover the rich folklore of Iceland, abundant with mythical creatures and epic sagas.
Seek Out Whales, Dolphins & Seabirds
We have timed this cruise to give you the best possible opportunity to spot wildlife such as humpback whales and puffins in their natural habitats, before they head south in August. Puffins are often seen at Eyjafjörður, Iceland’s longest fjord, which also attracts cetaceans such as dolphins and even blue whales. Ocean conservationists ORCA will also be on board, leading wildlife spotting sessions on deck and helping you identify the marine life you may see.

Whale Watching with a Marine Biologist
Embark on a picturesque drive along Eyjafjörður to Húsavík, then board a boat for a voyage with a Marine Biologist across Skjálfandi Bay. Keep watch for humpback whales, minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, and porpoises. After returning, savor a delightful meal and explore the Whale Museum.

Geologist Dr. Tony Waltham will be joining us on this cruise to provide an insight into the volcanoes, geothermal energy and geology of Iceland.

Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
