On the banks of the Seine, with extended stays in Rouen and Honfleur, there’s ample time to discover the highlights of Normandy and explore tales of French history. In Rouen, you’ll feel as though you’re walking back through centuries as you wander the streets, squares and alleys amongst historic sites such as the grand Gothic Cathedral, Aître St. Maclou cemetery and where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake at Place du Vieux-Marché. You could also join a tour to Paris to see the French capital’s iconic landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Louvre Museum; visit the house and gardens of the famous artist Claude Monet; and taste local specialities such as authentic camembert and calvados brandy.

Braemar is the shortest of Fred. Olsen's four smaller, friendly ocean-going cruise ships, with dimensions perfect for cruising picturesque, size-restricted rivers and docking in the heart of fascinating towns and cities.

Like the rest of the fleet, Braemar assumes the welcoming feel and intimacy of a country house hotel, and a sense of timeless style and elegance flows through the ship's comfortable bars and lounges, restaurants and spacious accommodation for up to 929 guests.
