Memorable sights and experiences await you on this Nordic exploration, as Bolette takes you to captivating capitals in Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden. You’ll get to discover historical, architectural and cultural highlights aplenty; see magnificent Royal palaces in Stockholm and Oslo, Copenhagen’s Amalienborg and Christiansborg palace, Helsinki’s Presidential residence and famous castles such as Rosenborg, Kronborg, Akershus Fortress and Suomenlinna.[ReadMore]

Other famous sites to seek out include the Little Mermaid statue – one of Denmark’s most photographed landmarks – and Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen; Stockholm’s ABBA Museum; and in Oslo, the Munch Museum and fascinating Vigelund Sculpture park. Perhaps you’ll choose to take advantage of many opportunities to explore scenic islands and city canals on boat tours too. You also get to experience fjord cruising along Oslofjord, and past the Olsen family home in Hvitsten, and enjoy a few hours of exploration in Denmark’s second city, Aarhus.

Bringing the world closer

Our size advantage means we can take you to places that some of the larger cruise vessels simply can’t. We dock close to the heart of some of the world’s most beautiful cities and can take you on scenic cruising adventures showcasing inspirational landscapes. Our itineraries are expertly crafted to make the most of this advantage.

Smaller but spacious

Aboard our smaller, friendlier ships you'll find there's plenty of room to stretch out by the pool, enjoy a drink and great conversation with like-minded guests, and make the most of your time away. Sailing with hundreds, not thousands, of others allows you to get ashore faster too, and make the most of each destination.

Each member of the Fred. Olsen team has been carefully selected for their warm and welcoming personalities. The quality of our people, supported by training and development, ensures they will give you a great holiday. In fact, 97% of guests rated Fred. Olsen’s friendly, attentive staff ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’.

While Bolette is one of the largest ships, by overall size, in our fleet, she still has capacity for less than 1,400 guests. So on board you’ll find you have more space in which to relax, in public areas such as the all-season pool and the beautiful two-tiered entertainment theatre, and enjoy a premium level of comfort – as well as our renowned personal service – in the elegant lounges, bars and dining venues.

With its warm, welcoming atmosphere and timeless style, and classic open deck spaces providing a place to fully immerse yourself in the magic of ocean cruising, Bolette is very much in keeping with what our guests have come to expect from a Fred. Olsen ship.
