Escape to the Caribbean and experience the region’s quintessential sunshine, scenery and culture, all before embarking on a memorable, laidback journey to Spain.[ReadMoreMob] After flying into Cuba to meet Braemar, you’ll have two days in Havana to capture the very essence of the island. You could spend a day taking in Havana’s monuments and landmarks via a classic American car; sip daiquiri and mojito in the city where these delicious tipples were first invented; and even enjoy an evening at the Tropicana. Whatever you choose to do, you’re sure to be left captivated by the Cuban capital. There’s a visit to Bermuda too; enjoy a few relaxing hours in Hamilton and discover the colourful colonial architecture, famous monuments and busy markets of the Bermudan capital, or perhaps explore the island’s picturesque interior or beach-laden coast.

In addition to your discoveries ashore, a sail across the Atlantic – one of the great ocean cruise experiences – will be something to remember. It’ll be much more than a simple ocean crossing; along the way you’ll get to look out for Atlantic wildlife, including sea birds, whales, dolphins and more with the help of experts from ORCA, watch the stars under unpolluted skies, and of course have plenty of time to relax on Braemar’s open decks. There’s even a stop in the Azores – to take in São Miguel Island’s crater lakes and hot springs – en route. Finally, in Spain, two cities will showcase their Andalusian delights; there are visits to Cádiz, for ancient sites, traditional tapas and a chance to tour to nearby Jerez, the home of sherry, and to Malaga, famed for its historic landmarks, exhibitions of art from great painters such as Picasso, and beaches – the perfect place to end your holiday.

Braemar is the shortest of Fred. Olsen's four smaller, friendly ocean-going cruise ships, with dimensions perfect for cruising picturesque, size-restricted rivers and docking in the heart of fascinating towns and cities.

Like the rest of the fleet, Braemar assumes the welcoming feel and intimacy of a country house hotel, and a sense of timeless style and elegance flows through the ship's comfortable bars and lounges, restaurants and spacious accommodation for up to 929 guests.
