[ReadMoreMob]You’ll sail into – and dock within – the centre of both of these highly-rated destinations, where your exploration starts at the end of the gangway. Step ashore in Seville and you’ll find the enchanting Parque de Maria Luisa and the iconic Plaza de España just a short walk away, while the Moorish Alcázar Palace and spectacular Gothic Cathedral – the largest of its style in the world – are within easy reach. An overnight stay affords time to savour the raw emotion of a traditional flamenco performance too. In Bordeaux, Braemar takes you into the UNESCO-listed historic centre, with its pedestrianised boulevards, neoclassical architecture and world-famous sites, such as the Grand Theatre and Place de La Bourse. Beyond the city itself, tours to the Medoc vineyards offer an authentic taste of Bordeaux’s legendary wine culture. [ReadMoreDesk]

In addition to a memorable overnight stay in Seville, your five days on Spanish shores will also include time in authentic Galician cities, as well as another ancient Andalusian gem. In La Coruña, Braemar will again dock closer to the city centre and its plethora of landmarks, including the Baroque-style Cornide Palace and ancient Torre de Hercules. La Coruña is also the ideal starting point for tours to Santiago de Compostela – one of Christendom’s three global spiritual capitals – and its spectacular cathedral. On Galicia’s northwest coast, Vigo is ripe for your exploration too; sandy beaches, a stunning historic quarter and a scenic bay await. After Seville, three days in Andalusia concludes in Cádiz. Among a maze of ancient cobblestone streets and alleys, you’ll find fascinating historical sites and traditional eateries serving tempting tapas – a real taste of Andalusia. Authentic regional flavours are also on offer at nearby Jerez, ‘sherry capital of the world’. On tour to Jerez, you can also visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art for a very special dressage show.
