Spending Easter discovering the scenic waterways and cities in four different European countries is the perfect way to enjoy a springtime break away from it all.[ReadMoreMob] An undoubted highlight of this cruise is a navigation of the Kiel Canal; only smaller ships like Balmoral can sail this scenic route through German countryside. You’ll sail the canal en route to Warnemunde, which is your gateway to Berlin and its waterways, iconic sights and historic highlights.

Experience scenic cruising in the Netherlands too; sail the North Sea Canal into Amsterdam, where you’ve time for a boat tour of the famous canals, visit its many museums and galleries, and feel the unique atmosphere of evening in the Dutch capital. Canal boat tours are a great way to the explore Antwerp – famed for its diamonds and chocolates – and Copenhagen, and see their sights, during your visits to these cities too. You could discover Antwerp’s underground canals too, or perhaps tour to another Belgian delight famed for its pretty waterways, Ghent.

Bringing the world closer

Our size advantage means we can take you to places that some of the larger cruise vessels simply can’t. We dock close to the heart of some of the world’s most beautiful cities and can take you on scenic cruising adventures showcasing inspirational landscapes. Our itineraries are expertly crafted to make the most of this advantage.

Smaller but spacious

Aboard our smaller, friendlier ships you'll find there's plenty of room to stretch out by the pool, enjoy a drink and great conversation with like-minded guests, and make the most of your time away. Sailing with hundreds, not thousands, of others allows you to get ashore faster too, and make the most of each destination.

Balmoral, carrying up to 1,350 guests is small enough to navigate narrow waterways such as Kiel Canal and bring inspirational sights and experiences closer to you.

Like the rest of the fleet, Balmoral retains a warm, welcoming atmosphere and features comfortable accommodation and lounges, stylish restaurants and plenty of open-deck space.
