Before heading across the Atlantic though, your holiday kicks-off with a very special celebration; for ‘Four Ladies in Lisbon’, Boudicca, Black Watch, Braemar and Balmoral will dock alongside each other in the Portuguese capital. You’ll get to you’ll get to enjoy fantastic live entertainment from local performers and crews from all four ships; take part in exciting activities; tuck-in to delicious, specially prepared menus; visit the other ships in the fleet, to explore and meet up with guests and crew you may know from previous cruises; and much more. An extended stay in Havana is the undoubted highlight; you can absorb the indomitable Cuban spirit and learn to dance the rumba, mambo and cha cha, sip rum cocktails and see Havana’s iconic sights via classic car, to experience authentic local life. There’s a taste of Colombian culture and heritage too in Cartagena de Indias, an ancient walled city famed for its coffee, emeralds and Spanish colonial history. In Mexico and Belize, perhaps take in the incredible Mayan ruins of Cozumel and Belize City’s remarkable archaeological sites. There are chances to embrace nature on this epic journey too; fauna-rich waters and coral reefs are within reach from Cozumel and Belize City, while on tour from Puerto Limón you could encounter sloths and monkeys in the Costa Rican rainforest. Finally, for one last unforgettable experience, you’ll even enjoy a navigation of the magnificent Panama Canal – one of the world’s greatest engineering feats.
