Immersive cultures and traditional cuisine, spectacular scenery and striking architecture: you’ll discover it all with Braemar sailing size-restricted, beautiful waterways and docking centrally in three captivating cities.

Your Andalusian adventure kicks-off on the sun-kissed Atlantic coast of Spain’s southernmost region, in pretty Cádiz. [ReadMoreMob]You could take the opportunity to indulge with the region’s finest traditional flavours during your time here: the bars and restaurants of Cádiz are renowned for serving some of the tastiest tapas on offer anywhere in Spain, while nearby Jerez – reachable on a tour – is the ‘sherry capital of the world’. Cádiz is also a haven for exploration; a wealth of wonderful sites await you in the charming Old Town, including the 18th century cathedral and Plaza de España. Then there’s Malaga, a city overflowing with aesthetic and cultural treasures. Perhaps marvel at the Moorish Alcazaba Fortress, and savour the many masterpieces from Pablo Picasso – a Malaga native – on display at the Picasso Museum, one of the many highlights of the ‘mile of art’. Alternatively, a tour to the hilltop city of Ronda is highly recommended. [ReadMoreDesk]

Four fabulous days in Andalusia come to a memorable end, with a relaxing journey along the gorgeous, palm-lined Guadalquivir River and an extended stay in sultry Seville. The Guadalquivir isn’t accessible to larger vessels, so guests on megaships can’t experience the natural beauty of this enchanting waterway. However, on board smaller-sized Braemar, you can sail the river all the way into the heart of Seville, taking in spectacular scenery en route. Once docked, enjoy ample time to explore the regional capital in depth. You could search the pretty squares and streets for historical and architectural attractions such as Alcázar Palace, the UNESCO-listed gothic cathedral and 16th century Casa de Pilatos; and enjoy indulge with authentic Andalusian flavours one last time at one of the many tapas bars. Don’t miss the chance to revel in the dramatic art of flamenco too: Seville moves to the sights and sounds of traditional music and dance. If all that wasn’t enough, in addition to your time in Andalusia, you’ll also visit the attraction-packed Galician city of La Coruña; and head to Lisbon, where an overnight stay will afford an opportunity to delve deep into the rich maritime history of Portugal’s picturesque capital.
