During this tour we will visit the famous Van Gogh Museum.

In 1942 the Frank family went into hiding in Amsterdam. The younger daughter, Anne, kept a diary which was published in 1947 and the secret annex the family hid in can be viewed on a visit to their former home.

This evening tour takes us cruising on the illuminated canals of Amsterdam.

Departing Amsterdam, we travel to The Hague, the governmental capital of the Netherlands and home of Queen Beatrix.

Our tour combines a short walk through central Amsterdam with a Dutch Gin tasting in a local, traditional pub.

Although we appreciate that many passengers will choose to explore the city alone, this tour is for those of us who enjoy seeing the sights from the comfort of a coach, and who value the services of a fully qualified English-speaking guide to enlighten us.

Departing the quayside, we travel by coach to the windmill village Zaanse Schans. The name derives from the defending wall (‘schans’), which was erected at the end of the 16th century for the war against the Spaniards.

After a visit to the city of Bremen we shall have a short transfer, we now visit the home of one of the world’s most renowned beers – the famous Beck’s Pilsner.

Our tour today will take us to the award winning German Emigration Centre, which allows us to follow the stories of some of the seven million emigrants who passed through the port of Bremerhaven.

Arriving in Bremen, we will start with the first part of the tour – a visit to the plant of Mercedes Benz.

Upon arrival in Bremen we will commence a guided walking tour before we have free time to visit the Christmas Market. 

This tour will show us the city of Bremen, with a visit to the City Hall.

This tour will give us the chance to see Brussels at this special time of year and the opportunity for shopping independently at the Christmas Market or to go sightseeing.

Upon our arrival in Ghent we will commence a walking tour of the centre. We will then enjoy some free time around the Cathedral – where the Christmas Market is located.
