- Due to fuel costs rising significantly since brochure production, it has become necessary for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to also levy a Fuel Cost Supplement for our 2009/2010 programme.
- From cruises BL0905, BD0909, BM0909, BW0902 & BP0908, the charge will be £4.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.00 per passenger per night.
- This supplement has a maximum charge of £80 per passenger and £40 per 3rd and 4th passengers.
- Where cruises also feature in the 2008/2009 3rd Edition brochure, the charge will be £6.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.50 per passenger per night.
- With these cruises, the supplement has a maximum charge of £120 per passenger and £50 per 3rd and 4th passengers. Please note prices on this web-site include the fuel surcharge supplement.

We drive north to Rabat – one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and the administrative capital, founded in the 12th century. Sightseeing here will start with a drive through Victory Avenue to the King’s Palace. -

Leaving our ship behind us we will begin our drive towards Câmara de Lobos, a small fishing village on the south coast where we will make our first short photo stop to take a lookout from the viewpoint.

Departing from the pier, we take a brief sightseeing tour of the city of Funchal by coach. Stopping at the old town, we then take a 15 minute cable car ride up to Monte. Here we will walk to a small square and the church.

Leaving the pier we travel towards Pico dos Barcelos, from where we can see distant Funchal and its surrounding villages scattered over the green slopes.Continuing on, our next point of call is Cabo Girão – the highest sea-cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world.
