After departing the ship we travel to the northern interior, heading towards Quinta da Aveleda – a farm located in the countryside near the town of Aveleda, close to the Penafiel in the region known as Vinho Verde (Green Wine).

Leaving our ship behind us we will begin our drive towards Câmara de Lobos, a small fishing village on the south coast where we will make our first short photo stop to take a lookout from the viewpoint.

Departing from the pier, we take a brief sightseeing tour of the city of Funchal by coach. Stopping at the old town, we then take a 15 minute cable car ride up to Monte. Here we will walk to a small square and the church.

Leaving the pier, we drive through the city of Funchal for a brief sightseeing drive before continuing to Pico dos Barcelos, to admire the breathtaking panoramic views over the city.

Departing from Santa Cruz harbour we will make our first stop at “Humboldt viewpoint” for a photo opportunity. Here we will have a pleasant view (weather permitting) over all the green banana plantations of La Orotava and Puerto de La Cruz, the main tourist resorts in the north of the Island.

Leaving the harbour, we take the motorway straight to the city of La Laguna. Centuries ago, La Laguna was the capital of the island. Its founders placed the city under the protection of Saint Christopher, from whom it gets its real name: San Cristóbal de La Laguna

This walking tour begins from the port of San Sebastian, joining our coach we shall drive in the direction of El Cedro village. Upon our arrival we will enjoy the most verdant and varied hiking route of La Gomera.
