CEUTA, SPANISH MOROCCO
Upon our arrival in the city centre, we shall begin our walk through the main street, which leads to a typical market, selling local items and produce. Continuing, we will arrive at Kings Palace Square, passing through the narrow streets of the Jewish suburb until we reach the Medina.
LEIXOES (FOR OPORTO), PORTUGAL
The attraction of Oporto, the second largest city in Portugal, lies in its workday atmosphere. The city that we see today dates mainly from the 18th century, when trade was booming and merchants financed fine houses for themselves. We will have the chance to see some of the city’s fine buildings on our tour today.
LEIXOES (FOR OPORTO), PORTUGAL
Departing our ship, we travel to the northern inferior, heading towards Quinta da Aveleda, a farm located in the countryside near the town of Aveleda, close to Penafiel in the region known as Vinho Verde (Green Wine).

From the pier we board a private motor launch to take us to the famous St Mark’s area, where a short walk will take us to St Mark’s Square, where our local guides await us. Here our tour of the fascinating city begins.
RAVENNA, ITALY
Departing from the quayside, we travel to Po Delta Park, the central station for the city of Comacchio. Here we will make a short stop to admire this characteristic lagoon town. Comacchio maintains its particular charm of a ‘miniature Venice’ due to its development on 13 little islets linked to each other by bridges, the most famous of which is the Treponti.

Cagliari is the administrative capital of Sardinia, the seat of the council and regional government and also the main port and commercial and industrial centre of the island. It is a modern town that has nevertheless been able to preserve its historical roots. One of Cagliari’s main attractions is its panoramic position in amongst natural surroundings. To the south lies the great Golfo Degli Angeli (‘Gulf of the Angels’), while the lagoons of Santa Gilla and Molentagus now appear to be almost enclosed by the urban network of the town, with its wide suburban belt flights of flamingos, ducks and herons.
