MALAGA, SPAIN
Malaga is the capital city of the Costa del Sol. Founded by the Phoenicians as a colony approximately 3,000 years ago, it has come under the rule of the Romans, Carthaginians and the Moors. With approximately 670,000 inhabitants, the city lives a ‘Janus-faced’ life as both a busy port and industrial centre for southern Spain.
LISBON, PORTUGAL
Our tour begins with a panoramic drive of Lisbon city centre. We shall make a brief stop at the top of King Edward VII Park, from where we can enjoy a spectacular view of the city and harbour. We then continue, passing by Pombal Square, the famous avenue of Liberty and, of course, Rossio – the very heart and meeting point of Lisbon.
TANGIER, MOROCCO
Tangier is the real gateway to Morocco, built on the edge of a remarkable bay. Dating back to approximately 1,000 BC, it is Morocco’s oldest continually populated city, and is a winter coastal resort of great renown. Tangier is where, in the unmistakably African streets, many cultures continue to mix but never completely blend.
NAPLES, ITALY
Our tour will start with a short walking from our ship to the nearby harbour of Naples, where we shall board our boat to transfer us to the Island of Capri. Capri is still one of the most famous summer resorts in the Mediterranean and has been since the time of the ancient Roman Empire.
NAPLES, ITALY
Departing from the quayside, we first take the panoramic coastal road, climbing the hill of Posillipo (the residential area of the city), which boasts the most exciting views of the whole city and the Gulf of Naples.
NAPLES, ITALY
An ancient and rich town of the Oscan period, Pompeii represents a magnificent and historical example of life in the 1st century AD.

MALAGA, SPAIN
Departing Malaga, our coach will follow the coastline to Marbella, the most cosmopolitan of the Costa del Sol’s resorts and, certainly, the choice of the rich and famous.
MALAGA, SPAIN
Granada was at its peak during the 11th century, when for a while it became the capital of a small kingdom. Our journey to this beautiful city, which is rich in history, lying at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and on the edge of fertile ‘Vega de Granada’ – the greenest and best stretch of farmland in Andalucia – will take approximately two hours.
LISBON, PORTUGAL
A hilly city with cobblestones, Lisbon’s sights are best enjoyed from the comfort of a coach. This tour takes in many famous city sights. We can enjoy the magnificent view of the city and harbour from Alto do Parque Belvedere. Rossio Square is the Picadilly Circus of Lisbon, and here the mile-long Avenida da Liberdade leads to the statue of Pombol, who rebuilt the city following the devastating earthquake of 1755.
LISBON, PORTUGAL
Leaving Lisbon through Monsanto Park, we arrive at Sintra, a popular old world village resort nestling in tree-clad hills north of Lisbon. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its 19th century Romantic architecture.
LISBON, PORTUGAL
Following a scenic 75-minute drive through the beautiful Portuguese countryside, we will arrive at the medieval town of Obidos, for a unique experience to travel back in time. The origins of this quaint little castle town, rising majestically above the lovely Gaeiras vineyards, are obscured in history, but may date back as far as 308 BC.
LISBON, PORTUGAL
We depart the pier for a drive to the Belem area of Lisbon. Here we shall see the Presidential Palace, the Monastery of Jeronimos, one of the most prominent monasteries in Portugal, and the Tower of Belem, built to commemorate explorer Vasco da Gama’s expedition. We shall also view the Monument to the Discoveries, which was unveiled as part of the 500-year anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator.

We then travel outside the city to the site of the EXPO 98 World Exhibition to visit the main attraction here, the spectacular Oceanarium.
