Due to fuel costs rising significantly since brochure production, it has become necessary for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to also levy a Fuel Cost Supplement for our 2009/2010 programme.
From cruises BL0905, BD0909, BM0909, BW0902 & BP0908, the charge will be £4.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.00 per passenger per night.
This supplement has a maximum charge of £80 per passenger and £40 per 3rd and 4th passengers.
Where cruises also feature in the 2008/2009 3rd Edition brochure, the charge will be £6.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.50 per passenger per night.
With these cruises, the supplement has a maximum charge of £120 per passenger and £50 per 3rd and 4th passengers. Please note prices on this web-site include the fuel surcharge supplement.

Sima Power Plant & Kjeasen Mountain Farm (Tour B)

EIDFJORD, NORWAY

Sima Power Plant, situated at the end of the Hardangerfjord in Sima Valley, is the biggest power production unit in Norway, and it is open to the public. The production hall itself is situated 700 metres (2,300 feet) inside a mountain, and from there the production room is 200 metres (650 feet) long, 20 metres (65 feet) wide and 40 metres (130 feet) high.

Scenic Drive to Osterbo Mountain Lodge (Tour A)

Fjordland Scenery (Tour A)

Driving along the fjord, passing small farms and orchards, we start climbing towards Utvik Mountain, where a photo stop is made at a viewpoint to take in the wonderful panorama. Down on the other side of the mountain, we pass through the very green Våtedalen (‘the wet valley’), a grazing site for sheep and goats.
