We start this tour with a panoramic drive so we can get a general overview of Lisbon City centre.We will make a brief stop at the top of King Edward VII Park from where we can enjoy a spectacular view of the city and harbour.

Travelling to the southern part of the island, our first visit is to Qrendi, where we find the Hagar Qim Temples, likened to Stonehenge and originally built about 2700 BC. The site of these temples – high above the sea – was chosen well.

To embark the boat for this excursion we will travel to Silema. Onboard we will witness Malta’s living past from the water as we ply around the two natural harbours on either side of Valletta – Marsamxett Harbour and the Grand Harbour.

Our coach will depart from the harbour and will make our way to Mosta (meaning centre), which refers to its very location at the heart of the island. Here we will stop to see the famous dome, considered to be the third largest in Europe.

Departing from Port Said we shall travel for approximately 3 hours along desert roads to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Upon arrival in this vast city, we will proceed to the world-famous and unforgettable Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx.

We shall depart the pier by coach for a drive of approximately three hours to Cairo, the capital of Egypt and the largest city in Africa. More then 16 million people live here alongside some of the most astonishing masterpieces of the ancient world.

We leave the quayside by coach for a panoramic drive around the bastions of Valletta that house most of Malta’s rich heritage of history, art, archaeology, architecture and culture. We will also pass by Fort St Elmo, the historic fort at the tip of the Valletta peninsula.

We travel onto Marsaxlokk, one of Malta’s largest fishing villages. Where we shall have some free time to explore this picturesque village, before we rejoin our coach to drive through some typical tiny Maltese villages, on our way to the Blue Grotto at Wied iz-Zurrieq.

Jeeps take us into a moon-like landscape where towering black and crimson weathered cliffs rise dramatically above pink sands. And how often do we get the opportunity to watch the sunset in the middle of the desert?

From a hidden staging post, they dominated the trade routes of ancient Arabia, levying tolls and sheltering caravans laden with Indian spices, African ivory and animal hides.

This tour provides us with a rare opportunity to see spectacular scenery. Wadi Rum ranks alongside Petra as one of Jordan’s ‘Must see’ attractions. This area became famous in 1917-1918 during the Arab revolt led by the great enigma T.E. Lawrence.

Jurong Bird Park is a 20 hectare, open concept park, which is the largest Bird Park in the Asia Pacific region. We will be fascinated by its collection of more than 8,000 birds from over 600 species.
