Cape of La Hague (Tour B)

This tour is designed for nature lovers, as it takes place in the vicinity of the Cape of La Hague – the rugged countryside west of Cherbourg. We shall have chance to admire the beauty of this area that is dominated by granite rocks and moorlands. -
Bayeux (Tour A)
CHERBOURG, FRANCE
We will first visit the world-famous Queen Mathilda Tapestry, also known as the Bayeux Tapestry, displayed in an impressive 18th-century building, which was a seminary until 1970. This incredible piece of Norman art tells the story of the Conquest of England, culminating with the Battle of Hastings, in 1066. -
Panoramic Tour and Old Town (Tour D)
LA CORUNA, SPAIN
From the pier we will board our awaiting coach to begin our panoramic tour, passing by the Gardens of Los Cantones which was built on reclaimed land. As we pass we must watch for the “galleries” – houses whose windows reflect sunlight and whose façades were built by fishermen out of wood and glass. -
The Gardens of La Coruna (Tour C)

Departing from the pier, we will head towards the famous village of Betanzos, the Roman village that emerged from Old Castros. Betanzos contains wonderful examples of medieval architecture, with various houses bearing coats of arms, the ‘fishing quarter’ also makes it a delightful village to visit. -

We will view from our coach the San Anton Castle, located along the seafront promenade, now housing the Archaeological Museum.We proceed to Betanzos, the Roman town that emerged from old Castros. King Alfonso IX granted it the same law-code as La Coruña and so a new era of prosperity began.

Santiago de Compostela - La Coruna (Tour B)

Ysios Wine & La Guardia Tour (Tour C)

Departing from the port of Bilbao we will head towards La Guardia by coach where we will be taken on a guided walking tour. La Guardia is one of the most perfectly preserved medieval villages in Spain, and is located right in the Rioja wine country. -
The Basque Coastline (Tour B)
BILBAO, SPAIN
From the pier our tour departs for Gernika, where we will have the opportunity to admire the best of this historical capital: the Casa de Juntas (House of Parliament for Vizcaya) with its symbolic oak tree, the Church of Santa Maria, the Park of Peace and the ‘fronton’ courts, where the Basque people practise their national game of Pelota Vasca. -
Panoramic City Tour & Guggenheim Museum (Tour A)

Our coach will take us along the main avenues of Bilbao, where we can admire the beautiful ‘Ensanche’ area – including the Albia Gardens, San Nicolás Church and the surrounding Alamedas (boulevards). -
The Famous Cognac (Tour F)

The world’s best-known brandy comes from the peaceful countryside surrounding the Charente River. This slow-moving waterway, which King François I called the loveliest river in his kingdom, passes through a placid landscape of vineyards bathed by a clear and radiant light. -
Saintes & La Roche Courbon Castle (Tour E)

Departing La Rochelle we head to the historic city of Saintes, which was converted to Christianity in the very early days and became a town with a strong religious vocation. -
Marais Poitevin (Tour B)

We depart our ship by coach for the Marais Poitevin, a marsh area situated north east of La Rochelle, near Niort. The waterways are sometimes likened to the bayous of Cajun country, for man hardly appears to have made an impact on the landscape. -
La Rochelle & Island of Re (Tour A)

Arriving in the centre of La Rochelle, we shall enjoy a tour of this seaboard town. We will view the old port with its three towers – Tour de la Lanterne, Tour de la Chaîne and Tour St Nicolas. -
Cherbourg - A Taste of Normandy (Tour C)

Following a drive from Honfleur through the heart of the Normandy countryside, we will reach the village of Le Breuil En Auge, where we shall visit the traditional distillery ‘Le Chateau du Breuil’.
